BP Oil Spill Live Feed Update: BP Applied LMRP to Stop Gulf Coast Oil Spill: The Gulf Coast Oil Spill is continuously spreading into the ocean injuring the lives not only of the marine life but also the livelihood of various fishermen relying on the sea for their living. It seemed that BP already exposed each possible oil spill solution to finally seal the oil leak.
As far as I can remember, they have tried boom oil spill equipments which is usually used in dealing with small scale oil spills, a huge oil spill containment dome about the size of a four-storey building, oil separators in which they have joint partnership with the project of Kevin Costner involving centrifugal machines used to separate oil from water, and last but not the least, the Top Kill Procedure which involved huge amount of muds to be pumped continuously into the broken oil pipe to finally put an end to the BP oil spill.

Well, all of these proved to be no match to the pressure that the broken oil pipe. Still, the oil spill is continuously leaking into the ocean as I viewed in the BP Oil Spill Live Feed HERE. However, in its latest attempt to finally contain this oil spill, BP now used the LMRP or the Lower Marine Riser Package as an alternative oil spill solution which involves channeling of the oil leak into a nearby Discoverer Enterprise Drillship and out of the ocean.
Apparently, I think that there are numerous challenges that BP will face in this particular oil spill solution. First is again the pressure of the oil spill. Second is the depth which is pegged at 5,000 feet above sea level. And lastly, how long will the oil leak last if this oil spill solution was implemented? I was informed by the fact that this Deepwater Horizon oil rig was one of the largest oil reserves and it would take around 100 years for it to become exhausted. Having said that, can the oil pipes that BP are using withstand such time?
Anyhow, if you are curious on the LMRP procedure, we have attached an image above. Also, if you are curious how this BP oil spill started, we have the link HERE. Again, if you want to get updated BP Oil Spill Live Feed, we have it on our partner site HERE.
We are hoping that this will be the final oil spill solution that BP will implement. A lot of people are already injured by this oil spill. Let’s hope and pray that this will be the ultimate oil spill solution.

They need drill to a depth for release of high yield Plato” bomb.
I would have to check dates but I was informed of Russian plan on net.
I’LL visit tonight. A small dome is fused and then seals remaining lower
shaft. I’d C4 first section-need not break anything below fuse point.
Needed? Pro not. I came to site having just here of a cut and cap.
Simplist plans the best? Einstein? I hope the cut and cap works.
Again, ? get rid of the rig to base-basis of open well. C4 some pliable
tar? See ya in the neus.

The 43rd day is growing huge oil slick on the surface of the Mexican Gulf, with the dimensions exceeding the territory of many countries and many States.
How long this can be continued?
Does BP have sufficient technological resources to close the damned holes?
They certainly do.
Then, what is the real reason they aren’t resolving the problem, for example, using my know-how and equipment for freezing the oil with liquid nitrogen?
The point is that blocking well BP will lose the”frosting on the cake”.
That’s why BP proposed a new project “B,” which assumes not only drilling new wells, but also construction a new platform.
For this escapade BP requests another 60-90 days.
It is easy to imagine what kind ecological disaster awaits US, if plan «B” is approved.
Very important to consider that the hurricane season is started, so the first hurricane sends in hell, all these shielding floats and oil will gush out to the territory not only the coastal states of the Mexican Gulf.
It is time to act.
Tomorrow will be too late.

Dear BP,
Oil if no different than water …you still have pressure so why not just use a cut off valve. Cut the pipe and put a cut off vale on the pipe with the valve open make sure it is sealed and them just closed the valve and you can attach whatever you need to the other end. Now you have no leak

I’ve watched the clean up with the saw and i was in awe, 1 mile below the surface and work of that quality was done. Good Job. I hope this is the final attempt and it works. Even if it works 80 or 90 percent, that is much better than where we are now.

Suggestion you might want to consider if you haven’t already.
I don’t have a well schematic but do you have a large enough minimum ID to run coil tubing after the LMR is installed. If you do the well flow is probably to high for the coil to go down by itself but a coil with an EL cable (I think BP Coil Tubing in Lafayette has one) with a Tractor to pull down should be able to overcome the flow and get to bottom. Once down you should be able to kill the well by pumping kill weight fluid.

Seems to me that if they are able to insert a pipe to pump drilling mud and other debri into the well, they should try another technique. Familiar with a catheter? Well, my dad used catheters and the version they used employed a ball which was inflated with liquid after the catheter was inserted ; the purpose of this inflatable ball was to prevent the catheter from being accidentally disloged or pulled out of the bladder. BP should get a company to design and manufacture an inflatable bladder, possibly made out of kevlar and rubber for strength which could be inserted into the well head which could be rapidly inflated by pumping a viscould liquid into it under a lot of pressure. This should seal off the leak and hold it until the relief wells can be drilled which will relieve the pressure on the damaged well head.

Hi,First to find a way to control the oil spill. If all the attempts do not succeed, it does not matter how small the oil flow is at this time, all the oil will spill within time. If the opening is wider then the presure will be smaller, the flow will stay the same not related to the opening(hydraulics). The pipe should be cut as close to the gournd as possible. The oil pressure should be calculated (should not be hard to do) and acording to it a big cilinder metal should be placed over the cut pipe in a way that reaches the bottom of he ocean (prepare the bottom of the ocean if needed). The cilinder will have valves on the side that will be easy to close when needed. On the top of the wide big cilinder there should be new pipe going above the water that will pump (collect all the oil). So when the cilinder is placed the valves on the side of it are wide open so the pressure will be minimized on the top part of the cilinder. When ready to pump the oil above the water just close the valves so the direction of the spill now is as wanted. It is absolutely necessary that the pressure through the new pipe is smaller then the pressure in the water, what already is at the bottom but closer to the surface pumps will be needed to achive the pressure difference, that will result in pressure from the ocean (water) being higher then the prssure from the oil in the cilinder. This will keep the cilinder in place and safe of blowing. The cilinder also could be build to have prongs on the bottom in order to be safetly placed in to desired place and to be resistand for any movement from the water currents.

Attn; BP I mailed to myself drawings of my designed equipment to finally seal the gushing oil pipe on the floor of the ocean. because of urgency I will present this to you and sell for 4 million usa dollars. time is atmost importance so I am not applying for patent. I am not protected by patent but man to man talk and if you see it has the biggest posibility in finally capping the gusher, some authorities,a bank can hold up my money to be. If it fail to do what you and I thought it prabably will do,the 3m usa dollar will be returned to you. this may turn out to be giant solution also to giantic problem.
I am hoping this space of Kim Stablespoon will serve as the quickest way to convey my most urgent message.

I have two recommendations:
1. That BP set up a web site where they publish all well-head data such as flow rates, gas pressure, temperature, composition. This would enable qualified people world-wide to aid in analyses and technical recommendations. It could also aid in the overall clean-up effort.
2. That the U.S. government set up an “escrow account” – such that claimants would then be dealing with the federal government, rather than a foreign entity. The federal government should be better able to negotiate with BP than many small U.S. entities.

My solution: Approach this the way a cardiac surgeon approaches angioplasty. Insert a ‘catheter’ inside the pipe that can be opened up like a balloon angioplasty, or like a stent. there are so many design ideas for this solution that are workable, viable and would be 100% successful. Any engineer with this idea could come up with a product to use now, and in any FUTURE situation. This is a superior idea to what you are trying do do now. Best of Luck. It will be a shame if you don’t put this in operation yesterday.
thank you.
