The California election results 2010 reveals that women power and money power has it for the State of California as Carly Fiorina and Meg Whitman wins their respective Republican Nominations. The two will face very strong Democrat opponents on the midterm elections this fall.
Carly Fiorina, former Hewlett-Packard CEO will face three-term Sen. barbara Boxer and her partymate, Meg Whitman, a former head of eBay will go against Jerry Brown, former Governor and current state Attorney General. Political observers says it will be an interesting and close battle as the Democrat and Republicans face off this Fall.
Fiorina and Whitman who are both businesswomen spent millions of their own money for the campaign. Whitman alone spend more than $71 million. This amount is said to be setting a new record for a California politician.
After the California elections results were all in, Meg Whitman has this to say to their opponents, “Career politicians in Sacramento and Washington, D.C., be warned — you now face your worst nightmare; two businesswomen from the real world who know how to create jobs, balance budgets and get things done!”
Meanwhile, Carly Fiorina will be facing another woman, Sen. Barbara Boxer, making it an all-female Senate showdown. Upon winning the GOP nomination Fiorina immediately bashed her opponent, “She believes the government can best decide how to spend your income.”
Both Carly Fiorina and Meg Whitman is seen to spend more of their own fortune in the Fall elections as they face their Democrat opponents.

“It’s a woman’s world,” so says a once-popular song. We need business people, not money-sucking communist career politicians like the late Ted Kennedy, to run this state, and country, like it was designed to run by its Founders.
