President’s Obama’s speech at the White House Oval office shows his strong words to resolve the BP oil spill caused by the explosion in the BP Deep Horizon Oil Platform at the Gulf of Mexico.

“We will make BP pay for the damage their company company has caused,” says Obama as he assured the public that the federal government is on top of the situation.

The Obama speech came up after Congress had revealed the initial results of the BP Oil Spill investigation. The initial results shows that BP had neglected its responsibilities on the BP Platform. BP is said to have compromised the well due to cost cutting. A move seen as exchanging safety for profit.

This is the first time President Barack Obama has delivered his speech addressing the topic on the ongoing Administration-wide response to the BP oil spill and America’s clean energy future.
