Britain Got a Whole New Unmanned Combat Air Vehicle

It’s pretty amazing to see things which were only available in movies before and now becoming real. What I’m talking about in here is the whole new Unmanned Combat Air Vehicle (UCAV) of Great Britain. Pretty much similar to those Air Vehicles in the movie Stealth in 2005. It has been unveiled by Britain’s Ministry of Defense hours ago.

They call it Taranis, named after the Celtic god of thunder. This highly sophisticated aircraft is capable of accurately hitting specific targets at a very long range, even if it’s not visible to the human eye using a telescope. That is so cool!

“Taranis is a truly trailblazing project. The first of its kind in the UK, it reflects the best of our nation’s advanced design and technology skills and is a leading programme on the global stage.”, said Gerald Howarth, Minister for International Security.

This whole new air vehicle would be needing a well trained combat officer that would undergo didactic training in controlling this amazing thing. It may do a lot of amazing things but still needs human being for control. It pretty safe to stay that way, because if not, it would be very scary. This world can’t be controlled by machines.
