Two months from now, the much awaited return of Floyd Mayweather will be witnessed again by millions of boxing fans as Victor Ortiz fights him at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas Nevada.
Admittedly, this is not the boxing fight that everyone is looking forward too. A lot of people have been waiting for the ultimate fight between the two champions, Mayweather vs Pacquiao. However, Mayweather is just full of alibis not to fight Pacquiao.
The only clear thing is that Ortiz is the underdog and Mayweather will surely defeat him in this fight. With a current untainted record of 41 wins, 25 of which are knocked outs, Mayweather is a sure bet to win in this fight.
The Mayweather vs Ortiz fight is scheduled on September 17, 2011. Although most of you expects Mayweather to win in this match, it would be worth to watch if the boxing champion’s skills were already degraded through the ages. Who knows? Ortiz might be the lucky boxer to taint Mayweather’s undefeated record before Pacquiao.
After this fight, the next thing boxing fans should watch out for is the third fight between Pacquiao vs. Marquez on November 12, 2011.
