Whenever his fans hear that the Pacman will be competing with any other boxer, they all look forward to the victory that he will bring home to his people. In fact, most Filipinos have acknowledged and tagged Pacquiao as the country’s peacemaker because whenever he has a fight anywhere around the world, the whole Filipino community puts an end to crimes and simply go together as one nation rooting for their idol.

This same mindset is what is expected of every Filipino fan for the upcoming fight between Pacquiao vs. Marquez. This is the third among the series of fights between the two and every Filipino is hoping for Pacquiao to bring home the title for the second time around. The last title he brought home with a fight against Marquez was in 2008. While their first ever fight in 2004 resulted to a 12-round default draw.

Pacquiao is of course delighted every time he hears people say that he is the country’s ultimate peacemaker. As a politician himself, he feels that this is just one of the many ways he can unite the Filipino community as one body and believes that this is ultimate motivation for winning. Every time he fights, he claims to be fighting for his God, his people, and his family.

Such a positive mindset makes his fights with Marquez and any other equally deserving boxer truly worth it. This coming fight between the two will take place on November 12 in Las Vegas. He is looking forward to meeting his Filipino fans in the city because a lot of Filipinos are reported to be living in Las Vegas as of late.

Pacquiao is also looking forward to winning the title and bringing home the glory that he believes his countrymen truly deserve.
